CIIT x Rail Control

Schienen Control GmbH is the regulatory authority for rail transport in Austria. Its main tasks include ensuring fair competition, mediating consumer disputes (represented by the APF), and promoting innovation in rail transport. 

Thus, Rail Control is responsible not only for improving the infrastructure, but also for uncovering systematic deficiencies. 

The Rail Control's ongoing goal is to improve the quality of the railway infrastructure in Austria and to draw attention to systematic deficiencies.
