The Austrian Ministry of the Interior is the implementing organization for a large number of public services and offerings in Austria. 

This includes, among other things, arbitration boards, authorities and other subordinate agencies. 

In total, over 40,000 employees work for the Austrian Ministry of the Interior, fulfilling system-critical and state-supporting tasks on a daily basis.
