CIIT GmbH, together with Dlouhy Fahrzeugbau, has designed a custom software solution that simplifies the management of emergency vehicles.

Dlouhy Fahrzeugbau has been building various emergency vehicles for organizations, authorities and specialists for 155 years. 

The company manufactures, for example, police cars, ambulances and fire engines with 120 employees who deliver over 1000 emergency vehicles per year.

Challenge

The management of emergency vehicles follows a multifaceted and complex system. An ambulance, for example, has a long list of inventory items – from bandage kits and stretchers to emergency blankets. 

Each item has a defined service life, a maintenance and inspection schedule. In addition, there are routine tasks such as refueling and cleaning. 

Furthermore, the complexity increases due to various specific customer requirements, which depend on the respective organization using the manufacturer Dlouhy's vehicles. 

All in all, it is not an easy task to map these challenges in a modern software solution and thus simplify the everyday tasks of the users. 

Therefore, Dlouhy contacted CIIT GmbH to develop a custom software solution that does exactly that.

Together, the CIIT GmbH and the Dlouhy Fahrzeugbau a modern custom software solution implemented, which ObJack calls.

The modern administrative software has been implemented as a platform solution for Dlouhy Fahrzeugbau's customers.
